We first met while Lindsay was working and attending graduate school in Oswego, NY. At that time, Austin was living at home with his parents and planning to move into the Milton Street house with his boys. After a few dates, I was quickly (very quickly), swooned by his charm, confidence, and charismatic personality. Actually, I was head over heels after our first date, but we remained "casual" for a while.

Fast forward two years to Halloween, 2020. I was having a Halloween get together with my friends and invited Austin to join us. He asked me what costume he should wear and my quick wit told him to dress as my boyfriend. Later that night, while we were dancing at the bar, Austin pulled me close and told me he was ready to try on that costume. BEST HALLOWEEN EVER!!!!

For the next two years, we enjoyed getting to know each other, our families, our friends, and our strengths as a couple. Covid hit and quarantining at the Milton house turned into an opportunity for us to delve deeper into our relationship. Eventually, it was time for us to discuss moving in together. We found the perfect apartment and moved to Camillus, a town we both fell in love with.

Fast forward another two years to October 12, 2024. We were walking through the Beak and Skiff Apple Orchard with my closest friends and family, enjoying beautiful Upstate NY in the fall. Austin pulled me aside and AHHH!!!!! IT WAS HAPPENING! He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The easiest yes ever!

So here we are, in our next chapter of planning our wedding and the rest of our lives together. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and start our next adventure as husband and wife!
